RAMADAN AND EID MUST HAVES

Hey guys! 

Can you believe we are days away from Ramadan (InshAllah)?!

One of my favourite parts of the month is the community and warmth that it brings. My parents used to decorate our home with fairy lights and flowers to make Ramadan and Eid more festive and now that Zizou is four, and can understand the importance of Eid, I am totally going all out! 

I am loving all the Islamic brands that have popped up in recent years.  These brands are creating great products, and by doing so, are making Ramadan and Eid special for Muslims and Non-Muslims alike. Here are my must haves this Ramadan/Eid season from some of my favourite brands:

  1. Ramadan and Eid Decor: I don’t know about you, but I love decorating my home for Ramadan and Eid. Sidra Art Boutique has a bunch of DIY Ramadan and Eid Banners that you simply download, print, cut and assemble.  They are modern, stylish and come in a bunch of different colors and styles that you can use to create your own unique decor.
     
  2. Mosque Silhouette Marquee: To add that extra touch, I absolutely love the mosque silhouette sign by Days of Eid. I prefer the white (no surprise there, lol) but it also comes in a really cool mint green. 
     
  3. Ramadan Planner: It is so important to make the most of this blessed month.  This planner by Rey of Light Designs has beautiful daily reflections and quotes to help you stay on track.  They also have an activity book for kids that teaches the basics of Ramadan.
     
  4. Salah Tracker:  The prayer tracker by Huez Unlimited is such a great way to get your kid excited about their prayers and a fun way to keep track of their daily progress. You can even get it personalized with your kid’s name on the top!
     
  5. Countdown to Eid Print: I started using these digital download countdown prints by Sidra Art Boutique last year with Zizou and he loved changing the numbers every day.  You just print it off, frame it and use a wipeable marker on the glass to change the countdown to Eid. They have several different designs/colors available!
     
  6. Paper plate sets and Table Decor:  We all know there are going to be several dinners and parties throughout Ramadan and Eid, so why not take your table decor up a notch? Eid creations has these super chic Eid paper plate sets - the luxury stone collection is totally my style!
     
  7. Gift Packaging: I am a sucker for gifts that are wrapped beautifully. This year Honey Lemon Events has launched the cutest Happy Eid gift wrapping products with adorable camels, lanterns, and mosques. I am totally going to stock up on their Ramadan and Did sticker sheets!
     
  8. Ramadan Good Deeds Calendar: Looking for a gift that gives back?   9. Cute Eid and Ramadan Onesies/T-shirts: I am going to be dressing up my boys in matching t-shirts from Sidra Art Boutique. There are several different Ramadan and Eid specific designs, available in white and navy blue. The “Eid 1439” t-shirt is my personal favourite.
     
  10. Islamic Shape Cookie Cutters: I have been eyeing these cookie cutters from With a Spin for a while now! They come in the cutest Islamic shapes - a crescent, a star, a Masjid (mosque) and a Minaret.  If you are not a baker, you can use them for so many other DIY projects!
     
  11. Eid Balloons: Have you even celebrated if you don’t have balloons? The monochrome Eid Balloons by Made with Hab are going to go perfectly with the rest of my Eid decor and my kids are going to be so excited!
